Parquet
type Versailles-
A type of flooring from the 17th century, when, as the name suggests,
noblemen started using it in their mansions and palaces, replacing
the marble flooring that was popular at the time. Versailles parquet
(also known as parquet "tiles") has a classic diagonal
pattern, making the room visually expand. Unlike, for example, the
herringbone parquet, for the Versailles parquet, flooring is prepared
beforehand, which is then laid in - similarly to tiles. Only raw
wood, such as walnut, is mainly used for this type of parquet, the
wood is useful for making a solid and multi-layer parquet. Thanks to
its elegance and the classic look, it is still relevant today and
perfectly complements the modern Interior!
